Things are getting hot, hot in SOCAL. The temperature is rising as well. Brand new air conditioning unit at the home front. The condenser broke, thats trigger a brand new furnace. That’s the new law you know. They have to work on efficient basis. If one is broke you now have to fix both units. Well 10K later, there is hope with rebate and incentives.

On to photography business. Its still not at the level I want. Income down. Classes doing well. I don’t anyone really reads this thing. So I can be liberal here. Some good studio shots done. I will post some of them here.

Its the end of July almost. I have to reassess my position. Feeling slow and left behind a bit. The County still owes me money from April event with Magic J. What a mess. Does everyone get this service. I am thinking of a new Cell phone. Maybe the new iPhone 4G. Nt sure of the ATT service.  Not sure of the Apple hardware service. They both blame each other. The consumer never wins. $200 for a cell phone? $100 a month for total access to email and phone calls. What a RIP.

Well, still waiting for some things to have its conclusion. Disappointment filled weekend. The TUEW, street photography class was cancelled due to low attendance. Like 3 only, and then only 2 by this morning. No way to run a workshop. I need some kind of boost. On the other hand my photography classes are doing well. Attendance has been great. Photoshop not so much. Only three there. So I add up the three classes we are looking at, lets 3, 15, 13=28 total.  Good that is easy , love the larger numbers. I have a lot to say to somebody, let it be a larger mass.

I finished the Peter Pan headshots and promo shots, last week. There were like 37 different head shots. I finished Danielle M, session. It came out good. I added a little 1.5 minute video slide show for her. I have the Peter Pan performance in July. Next Saturday I have a appointment with another young model. Sign up with Pictage and sold some prints recently. I cancelled several subscriptions. Like, iFP3, Printroom, Seattle Cloud, Photoshelter. I added this site for another year. I started a Meet up website for the RCPC club. I am going to pay and charge them half for the cost of the meetup online service.

Debating on which print to display at a local community center. Its part of the Photo Clubs project. I am going to miss the KEH used camera purchase sale. I have to teach that night.

I always add a photo, this young model turn out good. She was very easy to work with. I had all kinds of success. Enjoy.

Past the Memorial Day festivities. Looking forward to new photographic adventures. I have not heard from some sources that I have been waiting for. The County is one of them. Can’t pay yet, lost invoice, no response. What nerve.

What else, new meetup venture for the RCPC club. Who said things can’t change. its always changing.  My classes are not packing them in, yet. Times are hard, and it definitely shows.

Well did I tell you that I switched to APPLE computers. Yeah, I have the new iMac 27 inch, running Snow Leopard dual core system.  Some things are good and some are better than Windows. The Windows machine is just to the right of me. The total migration might take a few months. I have to purchase lots of made only Apple software. It hurts, having to spend more on this. I will realize the benefits in the long run.

I have to run over to the studio to pack up for tomorrows “Peter Pan” headshots. Something like 45 people need their portraits done. June 1st studio rent due. Might have a surprise. Yeah rent increase time.
